What does fermented Red Clover Extract contain?

Red Clover Extract consists of the fermented leaves of red clover. We also add peppermint, lemon balm and sage to our Red Clover Extract.
The high plant oestrogen content can help maintain a calm and more comfortable menopause and alleviate symptoms such as hot flashes and sweating, and improve mental balance.

What does fermented Dandelion Extract contain?

Dandelion Extract consists of the leaves, flowers and roots of the dandelion plant. It is especially due to its bitter substances that the dandelion is and has been such a cherished natural medicine. The dandelion has been associated with good digestion, cleansing processes, a greater well-being in the body and relief of tired, sore joints.

The menopause is a natural process so why should I take a dietary supplement?

The menopause can be so bad for some women that it almost becomes debilitating. Fermented Red Clover Extract can alleviate some of the unpleasant symptoms that occur during menopause.

How much Red Clover Extract should I take?

The dose is individual. However, for hot flashes, we recommend: 120 ml/day taken twice a day for 2–3 weeks (or until you feel the effect), then you can reduce the dose to 60ml/day.

Most women will typically feel the effect of the Red Clover Extract after 2–3 weeks, however, it may take longer for some.

How much Dandelion Extract should I take?

We recommend 30 ml/day for fit and healthy people. For chronic conditions, 60ml/day is recommended. You can expect to feel an effect after around 3 months and the full effect after 6–9 months.

What happens if I forget to take a dose?

Nothing happens. However, you should not double the dose the next day.

Do the extracts have any side effects?

No, no side effects have been reported for any of our extracts. (Please note that if you have a history of gallstones, we recommend that you start slowly).

Do your extracts contain dairy products?

No, none of our fermented herbal extracts contain dairy products and can therefore be used by people with a lactose allergy or lactose intolerance.

Do your extracts contain soy?

No, none of our fermented herbal extracts contain soy.

Can I take the extracts if I’m allergic to peanuts?

Yes. There are no ingredients in our fermented products containing peanuts or traces thereof.

Can I take the extracts if I’m allergic to gluten?

Yes. None of our extracts contain gluten.

Can vegans take the extracts?

Yes. The red clover and dandelion extracts are made entirely without animal products.

Are plant oestrogens carcinogenic?

EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) has read a number of research studies and finds that plant oestrogens are not carcinogenic. At the same time, however, they would like to see long-term studies that can shed light on the effect of plant oestrogen over a longer period.

Can you buy fermented Red Clover Extract as capsules?

No, we have not yet found a way of producing fermented red clover in powder form – where the active lactic acid bacteria can survive.

Can both extracts be drunk at the same time?

Yes. We have many customers who drink both extracts at the same time with good results. However, we recommend starting up slowly as the lactic acid bacteria can boost digestion.

Is it necessary to consume extra lactic acid bacteria when I take fermented Dandelion Extract or fermented Red Clover Extract?

No, there is no need to supplement with extra lactic acid bacteria, as you will be covered by the daily dose of our herbal extracts.
